Our mission is to raise leaders who are led more by Jesus, lead more like Jesus, and lead more to Jesus — and to enable Christian leaders around the world to develop their full missional potential, especially in the Majority World, where Arrow Leadership Global is the movement's dedicated mission arm.
Arrow Leadership began with a conviction that the leaders the world most needs are not produced at scale, but formed one life at a time. For decades Leighton Ford served alongside his brother-in-law, Billy Graham, proclaiming the gospel around the world — and grew concerned that his generation had poured itself into ministry without raising up those who would follow. He found the picture for it in Isaiah 49:2 — "he made me like a polished arrow" — a leader sharpened in vision, deepened in God, and shaped by hand rather than mass-produced. The first Arrow Leadership group gathered in North America in 1991, rooted in the Lausanne movement's call to take the whole gospel to the whole world. In 2018, we formed Arrow Leadership Global to carry that same conviction into the nations where the harvest is greatest and trained leaders are fewest. More than thirty years on, the heart of it has never changed.
Wherever Arrow Leadership goes, our purpose stays the same: to see Christian leaders led more by Jesus, leading more like Jesus, and leading more to Jesus.
What began with one small group of leaders in North America in 1991 spread, over the next twenty-five years, from nation to nation — always relational, never franchised. Then, to reach the places Arrow Leadership had not yet touched, the movement formed Arrow Leadership Global in 2018 as its catalytic mission heart, pioneering new programmes in the Majority World, where the harvest is greatest and trained leaders are fewest. Today, more than thirty years on, Arrow Leadership is at work in 11 countries on 5 continents.
We go to the nations where Arrow Leadership does not yet exist, come alongside national leaders, help raise up a programme and a team that are truly theirs, and in time entrust it fully to them. We support; we do not lead — catalytic, not permanent; Kingdom-seeking, not empire-building.
Rather than export a programme for the world to copy, we unite around one shared DNA and trust each nation to live it out in its own language, culture, and calling. Across every border our partners gather, mentor one another, and welcome new nations into the family — one shared calling, many national homes, a covenant family of leaders who belong to one another.
Arrow Leadership Global is deliberately lean. A small, catalytic team means more of every gift reaches the nations — and it keeps ownership where it belongs, with national leaders.
Nataliya builds and leads international partnership networks in high-complexity environments — aligning people, resources, and strategy across borders to carry Arrow Leadership into new nations. Over thirty years she has led ministries and organisations across Russia, Sweden, Ukraine, and Australia, served four years at the head of Australia's national evangelical missions network, and now sits on the International Council of the World Evangelical Alliance. Trained in education, law, theology, and finance, she gives her life to seeing Christian leaders raised up in the places that need them most.

Olena helps raise up new Arrow Leadership programmes in the nations where the movement does not yet exist. Based in Warsaw, she is Vice-Rector of the European Christian Academy and holds a PhD in Economics, with deep roots across the Slavic church. She carries a heart to see leaders right across the region formed and equipped for all God has called them to.
